Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data CLIP Learn collects, why, and the rights you have over it. CLIP Learn is operated by CLIP — Chancery Lane Institute For Professionals (Dubai Knowledge Park, UAE) (“CLIP”, “we”). We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR.

The data we collect

• Account data — your name, email address and, where you provide it, your organisation and phone number.
• Learning data — your course progress, practice and mock-exam answers, written submissions, mastery scores and exam plans.
• AI trainer conversations — the messages you exchange with MOEgent, so it can help you and pick up where you left off.
• Support & communications — questions you escalate to the CLIP team and our replies.
• Usage & device data — basic analytics such as pages visited, referrer, approximate location, browser and screen size, used to keep the service secure and improve it.

Why we process it

To deliver your training and qualification support, to personalise your AI trainer, to administer your account and any corporate sponsorship, to keep the platform secure, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent (where asked), and our legitimate interests in running and improving a secure service.

Sharing & hosting

Your data is hosted on UAE infrastructure. If your place is funded by an employer or sponsor, we share aggregate progress and readiness with that sponsor — never your individual course answers or AI-trainer conversations. We use a small number of processors (hosting, messaging and AI inference) under contract; we do not sell your data.

Retention

We keep your account and learning records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support re-sits, certificates and our records, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Start a deletion request on our Data deletion page, or contact us for anything else.
